That’s it folks, it’s official. Thailand is open for business and boy did you miss us 😉
As of July 1st, 2022, our good friends at The Tourist Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced that entry restrictions have been rolled back and tourism is back on track. That means that Karma Resort and our Luxury Boutique Villas are also fully open and ready to provide you with some serious relaxtionation.
“The World Can Visit Thailand …“
TAT’s official line is that all visitors to the Land of Smiles are only required to show a certificate of vaccination, or a negative result within 72 hours of touching down on Thai soil. Given that a huge proportion of the world has now been vaccinated, that means a huge proportion of the world can now visit Thailand with no more effort than needed before.
“Samui Has Risen…”
Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, Samui has risen and brought with it smiles, fun, sun, and good old fashioned rum.

With Bophut and Fisherman’s Village getting back to normal, the Night Market is back in full swing; offering some excellent food, tasty drinks, and even a specialist souvenir or two. Karma Resort Beach Events are also now running on both Thursdays and Saturdays.

Thailand is now in its 3rd stage of it’s lockdown roadmap, which means one thing, less quarantine. From October 1st until December 31st, we’ll remain in stage 3, which means five destinations across Thailand will open up and welcome vaccinated tourists.

Then on Sunday, spend a lazy day by our beachfront luxury pool under the shade of a palm-thatched umbrella. Or even walk a few metres and laze on the beautiful white beach listening to the soft sounds of the gentle waves, cocktail – courtesy of our beachfront bar – in hand.
